Every product started with a problem
Five we run ourselves, with real users and real revenue. Three we built for clients. Each one began as something that kept going wrong for someone.
Our rota was a photo on a phone. Planning anything meant counting dates.
Rotating days, nights and rest days never fit a normal week. Booking a weekend away, sorting childcare or finding time together meant working through the rota by hand.
- Who it hit
- Shift workers and their families
- What changed
- Rotas, time off together and pay in one app, on iOS and Android.
Job titles get tracked. Skills do not.
Businesses pay agencies for skills their own staff already have. Projects get staffed without the right person, and people who could do more never get asked.
- Who it hit
- Growing businesses and their HR teams
- What changed
- A short AI conversation builds a live skills profile for every employee.
Looking after client websites properly meant paying for five different tools.
Uptime, security, DNS, email health and renewals were each covered by a separate product. The all-in-one options were built and priced for enterprise IT teams, not working agencies.
- Who it hit
- Digital agencies and anyone looking after client websites
- What changed
- One dashboard for monitoring, security scans and client status pages, with a free plan to start.
My plate is worth more than the car, and I track it in a spreadsheet.
Retention certificates run out on dates owners forget, and plate values move in a market most people check once a year.
- Who it hit
- UK number plate collectors and dealers
- What changed
- Retention renewals flagged before they expire, with DVLA-backed checks.
A letter from Santa shouldn't be a copy with the name swapped.
Standard Santa letters feel mass-produced, and brothers and sisters often get the same one.
- Who it hit
- Parents and SantaBooker venues
- What changed
- Every child gets their own printed letter, with an optional hand-applied wax seal.
