Website Updates Service
Fast, reliable website updates — no retainer required.
Does this sound familiar?
You need something changed on your site but do not want to risk breaking it yourself. Your developer is no longer available and you have nobody to call. Small updates keep getting pushed to the bottom of the to-do list because nobody has time. You want a reliable team you can send requests to and trust they will be handled properly.
What We Can Update
We handle any update to a website or web application, including:
- Text and copy changes across any page
- Image and media updates
- New pages or sections
- Blog and news post uploads and formatting
- Product additions, edits and removals on Shopify and WooCommerce
- Form updates and contact detail changes
- Menu and navigation changes
- Plugin updates and configuration changes on WordPress
- Banner, promotional and seasonal content changes
- Layout and structural changes
- Any other update your site needs
If you are not sure whether something falls within scope, just ask. We will tell you at the outset if a request is more involved than a standard update and give you a clear estimate before starting.
How It Works
1. Get in touch
Email us at [email protected] or call 01326 536077 with a description of what you need changing. You can include screenshots, a document, a list – whatever makes it clearest. The more detail you give us, the faster we can get it done.
2. New clients: one-hour site review
If you are a new client whose site was not built by us, we start with a one-hour review of your website before carrying out any updates. This is time well spent for both sides – it means we understand what we are working with, can flag anything that needs attention, and can carry out your updates confidently without unexpected complications.
The review is charged at the standard hourly rate and counts towards your first session. It is not a sales exercise — it is a technical handover that protects you as much as it protects us.
3. We carry out the work
We complete the updates and let you know when they are live. For anything that requires sign-off before going live, we will share a preview first. We do not make changes to a site without you being able to see what we have done.
4. We send an invoice
Once the work is complete, we send an invoice covering the time used. Simple and transparent.
Pricing
Hourly rate: £75 per hour plus VAT.
Minimum charge: One hour.
Billing increments: After the first hour, time is billed in 30-minute blocks. You will never be charged for time we have not used.
New client site review: One hour at the standard rate, carried out before update work begins. Applicable to clients whose site was not built by FullyCoded.
There are no retainer commitments or minimum monthly spends. You use us when you need us.
Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can you turn updates around?
For straightforward updates, we aim to complete them within one to two working days of receiving the request. More involved changes may take longer and we will let you know the expected timeframe upfront.
My site was not built by you. Can you still make updates to it?
Yes. We work on WordPress, Shopify and most standard web platforms regardless of who built the site. New clients start with a one-hour site review so we can familiarise ourselves with the setup before carrying out any changes.
What if the update ends up being more complex than expected?
We will tell you before we go over the initial estimate. If a request turns out to be more involved than it appeared, we will stop, let you know and give you a clear figure before continuing. No surprises on the invoice.
Do I need to be available while you make the changes?
Not usually. For most updates we can work independently and let you know when it is done. If we need a decision from you during the work, we will get in touch.
Can I send a list of updates to be done in one session?
Yes, and that is often the most efficient approach. Send us everything you need doing and we will work through the list, letting you know the total time used at the end.
What platforms do you work on?
WordPress, Shopify, WooCommerce and bespoke web applications. If you are not sure whether your platform is covered, just ask.
